Starters 

Soup of the Day ( V )

Served with crispy croutons

 

Garlic Bread

Slices of baguette topped with a garlic and herb butter. Also available with melted cheese

 

Fruit Kebab ( V )

Succulent pieces of seasonal fruits presented on a skewer and drizzled with a strawberry coulis

 

Hickory Smoked Chicken Wings

Tasty chicken wings marinated in a smoky hickory sauce. Served on a bed of seasonal leaves and a BBQ or mayonnaise dipping pot. If you would prefer you can also order your wings plain

 

Mains

Gourmet Burger

A juicy burger on a brioche bun topped with smoked bacon, onion rings and mature Cheddar cheese. Served with chips, a side salad and homemade coleslaw

 

Tandori Chicken Breast Salad

A tender chicken breast marinated in a tandori sauce presented on a bed of seasonal leaves, highlighted with a yogurt mint sauce and crushed poppadom pieces

  

Cheese & Vegetable Pasta Bake  ( V )

A selection of seasonal vegetables cooked in a mature Cheddar cheese sauce with pasta shells, topped with a cheesy crumb

 

Sirloin Steak

Prime cut of sirloin steak (approx 6oz) char-grilled to your preference served with beer battered onion rings, sautéed mushrooms and chips

 

Baked Cod Fillet

A succulent cod fillet resting on a bed of Mediterranean vegetables and drizzled with a parsley butter sauce, accompanied with crispy potato wedges

 

If you would prefer you can switch to new potatoes, a jacket potato or a side salad.

 

 

Desserts 

Brandy Basket

A crunchy brandy basket filled with creamy vanilla ice-cream topped with fresh strawberries and drizzled with a strawberry sauce

 

Monmore’s Churros

Mini filled churros filled with your choice of caramel or chocolate sauce. Served with either cream or ice-cream and a toffee or chocolate sauce

 

Apple & Blackberry Pie

Traditional apple and blackberry filling encased in a buttery pastry. Served hot with your choice of creamy custard or ice-cream

 

Cheese & Biscuits Taster

A selection of British and Continental cheese served with an assortment of biscuits and crackers and accompanied with a real ale chutney
